What is a Conformity Assessment Body (CAB)?
CABs approved by SRP are responsible for planning and carrying out audits, making verification decisions (including suspension and withdrawal decisions), and providing reports and updating the SRP platform accordingly. CABs are also responsible for maintenance and oversight of competence as well as impartiality, conflict-of-interest and complaints and appeals management.
