Overview

SRP invites you to a webinar on alternative approaches to carbon projects in the rice sector. With growing interest in decarbonization, this session will provide insights into innovative models for insetting and offsetting, helping members navigate carbon project opportunities.

As the demand for decarbonization grows, SRP is committed to supporting its members in identifying practical and effective pathways to reduce emissions while enhancing sustainability. Building on discussions from the recent 3rd Global Sustainable Rice Conference, this session will introduce innovative insetting and offsetting approaches tailored to the needs of the rice sector.

Participants will gain insights into carbon accounting mechanisms, learn about the advantages and risks of different models, and explore opportunities to participate in carbon financing initiatives.
