Announcing SRP Risk Management Policy

We are pleased to announce that the Sustainable Rice Platform’s Risk Management Policy has been officially approved by the SRP Board on July 4, 2023. The objective of the policy is to establish a comprehensive framework for effectively managing potential threats to SRP’s mission, organization, objectives, action plans, and brand. The policy also aims to foster a shared understanding and awareness of risk-related concepts and applications throughout all levels of SRP.

• Scope and Application: Defining the range and relevance of risk management within SRP’s activities.
• Key Definitions: Clear explanations of essential risk-related terms to ensure a common understanding.
• Methods and Tools: Outlining the approaches and tools to be employed in conducting effective risk management.
• Roles and Responsibilities: Assigning specific responsibilities to individuals for the successful implementation of this policy.
• Review Schedule: Establishing a schedule for periodic reviews to ensure the ongoing relevance and effectiveness of the risk management approach.
