Introducing SRP RiceTrace: Streamlining Operations and Ensuring SRP Compliance

The Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP) introduces SRP RiceTrace, a comprehensive tool designed to streamline operations and ensure compliance with SRP standards.

Key Functions

SRP RiceTrace offers the following key functions to support users and their businesses:

  1. Supplier contact: Connect with your suppliers efficiently.
  2. SRP Transaction Certificates: Request and manage your SRP Transaction Certificates.
  3. Label and Claim Assessments: Easily request assessments for labels and claims.
  4. Inventory Monitoring: Keep track of your inventory of SRP-Verified rice.

Roles and Access

The following roles have been defined to manage different levels of access and responsibilities within SRP RiceTrace:

  • Verified Unit (VU) contact: The designated VU contact will have full access as the VU’s manager to perform all the functions mentioned above.
  • Marketing Contact: The marketing contact will be registered in RiceTrace and will receive inquiries for SRP-Verified rice but will not have access to the system’s operational functions.
  • Retailer contact: The designated retailer contact will have access to the VU’s contact information and the Label and Claim Assessments section. This access enables retailers to communicate with suppliers and obtain seamless approval for the SRP-Verified Label and Claims.

Next Steps & Upcoming Training

We will be sending out a form to VUs and retailers to collect the required information for registration in SRP RiceTrace. Additionally, we will organize training sessions to demonstrate the use of SRP RiceTrace. Details about the training sessions will be announced in August.
