About Us – NetZeroNitrogen
NetZeroNitrogen is developing a biological alternative to synthetic nitrogen fertilizer (SNF), initially focused on rice.
For many years, SNF has been a highly effective source of plant nutrition but its cost in environmental pollution is well documented. If you are a farmer, perhaps the bigger short-term issue is its environmental cost – any alternative needs to perform as well as SNF while addressing the farmer’s need to reduce agricultural input costs. NZN’s product is cheaper, cleaner and easier for farmers to use.
In 2025, we are currently conducting field trials in the ASEAN region with a view to market entry. We would be delighted to engage with potential partners or other stakeholders with whom we might have common ground.
