2022 Annual General Assembly and Call for Nominations
The 2022 Annual General Assembly meeting of the SRP e.V., will take place on 28 March 2022 at 08:00 to 10:30 (GMT) using the Microsoft Teams virtual meeting platform.
The General Assembly, comprising representatives of all full members, is SRP’s highest decision-making body. The purpose of this annual meeting is to enable all members to exercise their statutory rights and duties in accordance with the SRP Articles of Association, to ensure the organization can be managed according to the wishes of the membership.
All SRP members are invited and strongly encouraged to participate in this important meeting, especially in view of significant changes to the Articles of Association to be tabled, and also to the Board composition.
Please remember that the Annual General Assembly is for SRP members only. Only 1 representative per member organization is permitted to vote; however up to 4 representatives per organization are permitted to attend.
A formal invitation, agenda and link to the registration form will be circulated via email to official representatives of all member institutions in accordance with Section 13 of the Articles of Association, with documentation to follow on all resolutions to be tabled.
Call for Nominations
SRP seeks nominations from eligible candidates for the following Board seats:
- Public sector: 1 seat
- Private sector supply: 2 seats
- At-large: 1 seat
In keeping with SRP’s goal to promote diversity throughout the organization, we especially encourage nominations from females and candidates from the global South. Please submit your nomination including photo and short bio by email to info@sustainablerice.org no later than 10:00 (GMT) on 10 March 2022.
SRP will publish the final list of candidates and their profiles via website and newsletter no later than 14 March 2022. Voting will then take place via secure, online voting, to be managed by Mi-Voice, an independent third-party provider. Voting will close on 21 March 2022, and the outcome will be announced at the Annual General Assembly.
