About Us – Asociación Cultivadores de Arroz (ACA)
The Asociación Cultivadores de Arroz (ACA) is the national organization representing rice producers in Uruguay. Established in 1947, ACA works to defend producers’ interests, promote the development of rice cultivation, and strengthen all activities linked to the rice value chain. Its mission is to foster the production of sustainable, high-quality rice that stands out globally, while responsibly caring for land and natural resources. Guided by values such as solidarity, innovation, efficiency, quality, participation, productivity, and trust, ACA provides technical guidance, institutional representation, and support services to its members. The association plays a central role in advancing a competitive and sustainability-driven rice sector, contributing to Uruguay’s strong international reputation in rice production.
