SRP’s New Member — A Warm Welcome to Fatima Euricom Rice Mills Pvt. Ltd

We’re delighted to welcome Fatima Euricom Rice Mills Pvt. Ltd into the Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP) family. Their membership reflects a growing, shared drive to build a more sustainable and resilient future for rice production worldwide.

Situated at 6.5 Km, Renala Sher Garh Road, Renala Khurd, District Okara, in Pakistan’s Punjab province, Fatima Euricom is a young but ambitious mill. Founded and brought into operation in 2024, the facility runs a single production line capable of processing 10 tons of rice per hour, operating one daily shift from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Being a relatively new entrant gives the company a unique advantage: the opportunity to embed sustainable practices into its operations right from the start, rather than retrofitting them later.

Punjab sits at the heart of Pakistan’s rice industry, and Fatima Euricom’s presence there places it in a strong position to influence positive change throughout the local supply chain. Its decision to join SRP so early in its journey signals a genuine intent to grow hand-in-hand with sustainability, rather than treating it as an afterthought.

Membership connects Fatima Euricom to a diverse, worldwide network within SRP spanning private companies, government bodies, research institutions, civil society groups, and development organizations, all working toward the common goal of more sustainable rice cultivation and better outcomes across the value chain.
