Call for Nominations: SRP Board Election — One Seat, One Vote, Your Voice

Nominations open 20 August 2026

This is your moment to help steer the future of the Sustainable Rice Platform. One seat on the SRP Board — At Large — is opening up. Unlike seats reserved for a specific constituency, an At Large seat is open to nomination from every category of SRP membership — meaning every SRP member organization has the right to nominate, regardless of which constituency you belong to — a leader you admire, a colleague doing exceptional work, or yourself.

If you’ve ever thought “someone from our community should have a seat at that table,” now is the time to act on it.

About the SRP Board

The Board guides SRP’s work to advance sustainability across the global rice sector — championing environmental stewardship, farmer livelihoods, and supply chain innovation. For this seat, the Board is especially keen to hear from candidates with strengths in: not-for-profit governance, finance and business models for voluntary standards initiatives, carbon finance, risk management, fundraising, climate action, agri-finance (green bonds, VCM, development funding), global engagement and advocacy in food systems, rice research and value chain knowledge, and regulatory compliance (including the EU Green Deal, EUDR, GDPR, and CSDDD).
